Beauty comes from the inside
Wellness & Movement: My Beauty Secrets Over Time
When people ask me about my skin or overall well-being, I often reply with this:
Beauty partly comes from within.
Taking care of your body starts with learning to listen to what it needs. That includes what you eat, how you feel, and how you treat yourself every day.
I deeply believe that "you are what you eat."
But don’t get me wrong, that doesn’t mean starving yourself or eating greens all day.
It’s about understanding and respecting your own physical and emotional needs. And that’s a skill you develop over time.
Listening to Your Body, Learning from Yourself
Throughout my dance career, I’ve experimented, tested, and observed…
For example, I stopped drinking cow’s milk at age 15, because I was suffering from chronic tendinitis. That change had a real impact on my body.
But I didn’t neglect calcium, I started drinking a variety of plant-based milks, not just oat milk, but also coconut, almond, and rice.
As a ballet dancer, I learned early on the importance of protein and nutrient intake to keep up with the training intensity.
Glowing Skin Starts with Nutrition and Hydration
Regarding skin, I’ve found that green vegetables, vitamin C, and hydration are key to a healthy glow.
I drink celery juice several times a week and often add lemon juice to my water for a purifying boost.
And then there are my wellness essentials:
✔️ Sauna sessions to deeply detox the skin
✔️ Cold showers to tone and stimulate circulation
Wellness Tips Beyond Movement
These are just a few habits I love sharing during my classes or one-on-one consultations.
Because beyond ballet or barre training, I believe in a holistic approach to well-being, where movement, nutrition, breathing, and self-awareness all work together.
